As a result of the worldwide climatic changes the use of regenerative energy increases dramatically. Especially the use of solar energy plants is becoming more and more important.

Each field of solar cells is in principle a power generating station. From the point of view of the owner it shall operate as efficient as possible. From the point of view of the power distributing industry it shall work without producing disturbances, unbalances or other dangerous conditions like islanding.

Therefore the used components have to be tested according to the relevant standards. The standards define test setups and routines to check the functionality of the components.
